i have an 8th grade son who is accustomed to blue ribbon schools and a very safe environment. i want to keep both of these elements in his life. please help with school district feedback. thank you. please give real answers, not vague answers. i want to know ALL areas around LA--which has the best schools and safest?

we're talking LA now it's not that safe lots of gangs drive by's stealing hmmmm it rlly depends what part of LA.

The biggest school district here is Los Angeles Unified School district and it covers many cities. I recommend that you go to a nice and educational environment. Don't assit any schools that are in Central or South Central area. Probably not any urbanized location since there is alot of pressure, drugs, and gangs. Note: Many schools that are nice do have pressure and drugs but it isn't too bad. The best thing to do is to enter a school in a suburban area. They are usually nice and clean. You other option is entering a private school.

LA is a big place and I can’t tell you ALL of the areas, but Torrance and Palos Verdes have really good schools that always rank high in the state and are in very safe clean areas. Your best bet is to find an area you want to live and choose one that has its school district that is not part of LA Unified. Also consider Orange County.
