I know LA school district pays more for its subs. I wouldn't mind traveling 15-20 miles if I can teach in a safer environment, even if the pay is less. Thanks.

let's see..i'd say the city of Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Tarzana (where I work[elementary school]), Encino, Studio City, Beverly Hills (not sure if they're their own district or part of LAUSD)...mostly like the west side of the valley...i grew up here and i know these cities are nice areas and pretty safe.
